Verizon Business Park Waterproofing Project

The Challenge
These trenches form part of the drainage system to the front of the Business park. With an underground car park lying directly below. Unfortunately, the leaks were beginning to cause concern and disruption due to water ingress to vital electrical services.
Our challenge was to provide our client with a comprehensive service with minimal inconvenience to this busy commercial hub. While making sure the occupants were undisturbed.
The Solution
Firstly, it was necessary to cordon off the areas and make sure the public were safe and uninterrupted.
Then we proceeded to remove the layers of Stone from the trenches and place them on sheets. We then thoroughly cleaned the trenches and assessed which areas would need detailing with an embedded Geo textile. Once the detailing and some minor repairs to the substrate were complete, we applied the Liquid Rubber seamless membrane.
Finally, the stones were re-placed into the trenches and the areas were cleaned and tidied.
The Benefit
This was the second phase of waterproofing Elite had carried out at this location.
